Buffalo, NY Social Security Disability Attorney Renee Liporace
Renee Liporace, Esq. is a Social Security disability attorney in Buffalo, NY, serving clients across Western New York at Hiller Comerford Injury & Disability Law. She represents clients across Western New York in SSDI and SSI hearings. To date, she has appeared in hundreds of disability hearings on behalf of claimants who needed a skilled, prepared advocate in their corner.
Renee knows this process from the inside. Before becoming an attorney, she worked at Hiller Comerford as a law clerk. In that role, she prepared clients for hearings, drafted legal memoranda, and supported active cases. That foundation makes her different. She stepped into her attorney role already knowing what clients face and exactly how to help them.
A Background Built for High-Stakes Advocacy
Renee earned dual degrees from the University at Albany in 2018 a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During those years, she also completed Officer Candidate School with the United States Marine Corps. That program taught her discipline, accountability, and how to stay composed under pressure. She applies all three every day in her legal practice.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2023. While there, she won the BYU Law Stories Mainstage competition. This national contest recognizes law students who connect legal issues with powerful personal storytelling. It reflects how Renee approaches every case: she makes sure each client’s full story gets told.
Her interest in advocacy started early. An internship with U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer confirmed her commitment to helping people navigate large, complex systems. That commitment drives her work at Hiller Comerford today.
Committed to Every Client in Western New York
Renee focuses on one thing: getting her clients the disability benefits they deserve. She prepares each case thoroughly, anticipates what hearing officers will challenge, and keeps clients informed at every step. Her clients know what to expect before they walk into a hearing room.
Renee holds membership in the New York State Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). NOSSCR is the leading professional association for attorneys who represent disability claimants.
Beyond the Office
Outside work, Renee runs, travels, and spends time in nature. She is rarely far from her dog, her family, and her friends.
