Personal Injury Attorney A. Peter Snodgrass
Peter is a seasoned trial attorney with a proven track record of delivering meaningful results for injury victims across Western New York.

Over the course of his career, he has recovered more than $10 million in settlements and jury verdicts for clients injured in car accidents, slip and falls, construction site incidents, and other negligence cases.
Peter began his legal career at a boutique personal injury firm, where he spent eight years honing his litigation skills and developing a reputation for thorough preparation, strong advocacy, and client-focused representation. His success and professionalism earned him recognition as a Super Lawyers Upstate New York Rising Star for six consecutive years (2017–2022).
To better serve his clients, Peter expanded his litigation experience by working in a small general practice firm, where he handled a wide range of legal matters, including estate and probate issues, family law, landlord-tenant disputes, guardianships, and criminal defense. This broader background allows him to understand the full scope of challenges his clients may face and provide practical, well-rounded guidance.
In 2024, Peter joined a large insurance defense firm, where he represented construction companies in complex litigation, including injury claims and defect cases. This experience gave him invaluable insight into how insurance companies and defense teams evaluate and fight cases—knowledge he now uses to anticipate strategies and advocate more effectively for his clients.
Before becoming an attorney, Peter served as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army with the 2-17th Field Artillery, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. He completed two deployments to Iraq and was awarded the Combat Medical Badge for treating casualties under fire, along with multiple commendations for his service. His military background instilled in him discipline, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others in difficult circumstances—qualities that continue to define his approach to representing clients today.
Peter earned his law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law, graduating cum laude and receiving the prestigious Harry A. Rachlin Prize.
A lifelong Western New Yorker, Peter is deeply committed to his community. Outside the office, he enjoys running, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with his wife and three children.
